Bonita Valley Horsemen was created in February of 1969 with the goal of "building trails today for tomorrow". Founding members worked diligently to build a strong trail network in Bonita that would connect with other trail networks across the county. Developers were persuaded to give land easements for dedicated trails, to preserve existing trails and to reroute others. We owe a great debt of gratitude to these founding members who gave us the wonderful trails enjoyed today by riders, bikers and hikers.
